IP Transit Tunnels

Bring our transit to your infrastructure. VxLAN or Wireguard tunnels from any location, sized to your needs.

What Are Transit Tunnels?

Transit tunnels let you extend our network to your own infrastructure—wherever it's hosted. Instead of running BGP sessions on a VM with us, you establish a tunnel (VxLAN or Wireguard) from your server to our network and run BGP over that.

This works great if you're already hosting elsewhere but want transit from our locations, or if you need to connect multiple sites through our network. You get the same clean transit and routing policies, just delivered through a tunnel to your infrastructure.

VxLAN Tunnels

Layer 2 tunneling that extends your network seamlessly. Feels like a direct connection, handles higher throughput efficiently.

  • Low overhead, high performance
  • Layer 2 extension
  • Great for datacenter-to-datacenter links
  • Supports higher bandwidth cleanly

Wireguard Tunnels

Encrypted Layer 3 tunnels that are simple to set up and easy to manage. Modern, lightweight, and battle-tested.

  • Built-in encryption
  • Simple configuration
  • Works through NAT and firewalls
  • Lightweight and efficient

Common Use Cases

Multi-Location Setup

You have servers across different providers but want transit from our network. Tunnel from each location to us and announce your prefixes.

Existing Infrastructure

Already hosting elsewhere but need clean transit with proper filtering? Tunnel to us instead of migrating your whole setup.

Geographic Diversity

Want transit from Albania, Netherlands, or the UK without running VMs in each location? Tunnel from wherever your infrastructure lives.

Hybrid Approach

Mix and match—run some services on our VMs with direct BGP, tunnel others from your own infrastructure. Whatever fits your setup.

Available Locations

We can provide transit tunnels from all of our locations. Pick whichever endpoint makes sense for your latency and routing needs.

Note: The same location-specific restrictions apply as with Transit on VPS. For example, UK tunnels have the same single-homing requirement from our upstream.

Pricing

Pricing for transit tunnels depends on the bandwidth you need. Unlike the flat 5 EUR/mo for BGP sessions on VMs, tunnels are sized to your requirements.

Speed-Based Pricing

Reach out with your bandwidth requirements and we'll provide a quote. Whether you need 100 Mbps or 10 Gbps, we can accommodate.

Pricing includes both IPv4 and IPv6 transit, regardless of which protocols you use.

Requirements

1

Valid IP Resources

You must own or have authorization to announce the prefixes. We verify this before setting up the tunnel.

2

Routing Policy Compliance

All announcements must follow our routing policies. RPKI, IRR, ASPA—the usual requirements apply.

3

ASN Validation

You'll need to validate ownership of your ASN through the registered contact addresses.

4

Tunnel Endpoint

You'll need a server capable of running VxLAN or Wireguard. Pretty much any modern Linux system works.
