🚀 Albania Node Upgrade Announcement

As many of you are aware, we started out with an older startup node in Albania and have since expanded and upgraded our Albanian nodes a few times. Well, another update just occurred.

🛠️ Listening to Your Feedback

We heard your complaints of slower speeds in Albania, slow disk speeds, downtime, and routing issues. We care about what you think and want all our customers to be happy. Your comments, complaints, and praise do not fall on deaf ears.

This is why we have implemented recent changes in Albania that will retroactively benefit existing clients.

💾 Hardware and Performance Upgrades

You may have noticed our recent changes throughout both the ordering process in the panel and our main website pages for Albanian VPS:

• SSD replaced by NVME
• Speeds massively increased on all packages

This wasn’t a glitch or a typo — we really did switch out all SATA SSD drives for M.2 NVME drives and raise the bandwidth limits in Albania.

You may have noticed your VM lagged for a few minutes and then suddenly was back faster. That was a live migration from older nodes to the new enhanced ones with NVME.

⚡ Uptime and Reliability Enhancements

To improve uptime and reliability, we’ve installed:

• Diesel generators
• Solar panels
• A battery bank
• UPS extension packs

There is now enough capacity for 72 hours without power from the grid, maybe longer on sunny days.

🌐 Backup Connectivity

To protect against downed lines, we’ve added:

• 2 Starlink dishes for backup internet (higher latency, lower throughput)
• 2 local ISP 5G internet stations (from One and Vodafone)

This setup covers all needs if fiber lines go down until they are restored. All links are now monitored, with automatic selection of the best available path, and incoming and outgoing traffic never share the same line.

🚀 Retroactive Speed Upgrades

Even the speed upgrades are retroactive. Existing VMs now have the following speeds:

🌍 Future Plans

Our next plans are more global than Albania-local. Upcoming panel updates include:

• Referral system panel
• VM reinstallation
• Automatic cancellation requests (currently via tickets)
• Cloud-init password changes
• Firewall controls from host (open/block ports)
• rDNS management (currently via ticket)
• Automated BGP session management and monitoring
